This space is for me to create and aggregate content about London and my work as an IT Infrastructure Engineer. I try and keep stuff here relevant to work I’ve done myself, but I also try and curate interesting content that I’ve found dotted round various places like X/Twitter.

Over the years I’ve collected an array of Nutanix, VMware and Microsoft Azure professional certifications, and while the modern stuff – particularly Nutanix – is incredible, there’s something to be said about legacy technology like NT4, Novell Netware and IBM stuff including AIX. It’s always fascinating to see how much “older” technology is still proliferate within modern enterprises. What does this mean? Hybrid cloud is here for the long haul, despite “AI” doing its level best to push everything “cloud-first”.
I am currently looking for work so if you want a down to earth, reliable and technically literate engineer on your team I can be contacted at te at vtom dot uk.
