Arc is management platform in Azure designed to provide consistency for the management of virtual machines, Kubernetes clusters, and databases as if they are running in Azure, wherever they are running. It is the only method used to enable EOL platforms such as Server 2012/2012 R2 to receive ongoing Windows Updates.
Arc can be used to bridge existing VMware vSphere & SCVMM systems to Azure, as well as physical and virtual Windows & Linux systems, and Kubernetes.
